Harps Liquor Grand Opening at Lakeland Mall

Valentine’s Day was a sweet affair for the team at Harps who celebrated with the grand opening of Harps Liquor in Lakeland Mall. Owner Harp Khela rolled out a number of specials that day, but sweetest of all is the ongoing discount of 15% for university students. Along with the fabulous deals, customers were thrilled to discover a well stocked store with vast array of fine brands and best of all, a large easy to browse cooler.

Vermilion Voice reporter Trudy McKenzie was on hand when Khela expressed his gratitude, “We are very fortunate to have gathered such a great team of colleagues here at Harp’s and from the ownership and management we are so very grateful to them for their hard work. As we continue to establish ourselves we are pleased to see return customers enjoying all our products. We look forward to serving them well into the future and have plans to appreciate our customers on a monthly basis through regular in-store promotions.”

After the official ribbon cutting ceremony, Town Councillor Linda Jacejeko put the cherry on the cake when she presented Khela with a congratulatory plaque. She spoke for the Vermilion community when she announced, “The Town of Vermilion is very appreciative that this family has chosen to invest in our community. We wish them many years of prosperity and success here in Vermilion.”
